Benjamin Franklin was one of our greatest presidents, probably because he was never president. But as one of the Founding Fathers, he helped shape the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, and an early draft of the first Twilight book.
Here are some facts about Benjamin Franklin:
- He wrote the book “Poor Richard’s Almanack,” which was a list of words spelled with an extra ‘k’ at the end, like “duckk” and “dorkk.”
- Franklin was also a scientist, and flew a kite in a thunderstorm to prove the existence of electricity. Or, he was just really drunk. Either way, he’s a genius. Or just really drunk. Probably both.
- Ben Franklin’s face adorns the $100 bill. He wrote a song about this, “All About The Me’s.”
