Maine: Technically, A State

When people think of Maine, what do they think of? We may never know, because nobody has ever thought of Maine. Well, maybe someday. We’re not holding our breath, though.

A famous person from Maine is the writer Stephen King. His many non-fiction books give us a good picture of Maine–telekinetic, unbalanced prom queens, little kids who talk to their finger and say “red rum” a lot, rabid St. Bernards, killer supernatural cars, dudes with axes saying “Here’s Johnny,” zombie pets, crazed book fans and more. Why Maine is a distant 50th in the nation in tourism remains a mystery.

Another famous thing about Maine is lobster. These giant, mutant insects from the sea are apparently good eating, assuming they don’t eat you first. Good luck!
